"God is transforming hearts..."

Posted by Amy Tyson on

October was a busy month for Radstock’s newest members in Mongolia!

Holy Foundation Church’s "Month of Mission" (introduced here), saw teams sent out to five target areas throughout the country. They travelled as far as three days and three nights (one way!) in order to encourage missionaries and believers, pray against strongholds and seek to share the gospel -- all with a view to planting more churches throughout Mongolia.

Pastor Augie explains: “In general, Christians who live away from the capital don’t really have access to other Christians where they could be mentored and trained. Therefore, most of the times missionaries or local believers feel very lonely and discouraged.”

Please read the full report here, and be encouraged by our Father’s work in Mongolia. And pray with us for the following specific points:

  • Pray for God to prepare the hearts of people in Gobi-Altai to receive the gospel, and for the believing family there to remain steadfast.
  • Praise God for his work in Bayan-Ulgii during the past 15 years. The largely Kazakh population is now sharing the good news with their own people!
  • Pray for encouragement for the missionary family in Khuvsgul province, up in the north, who have been serving here since 2008, and the churches they have planted in that time.
  • Praise God for answered prayer in a settlement in Sukhbaatar province on the Chinese border: opportunities for the team to share the good news and the willingness of several to hear it. Pray for missionaries to water the seeds that have been planted.
  • Pray for the believers in a town in Selenge province, especially the new Christian family, who often feel isolated without many opportunities for fellowship. Pray for Christians to go there to encourage local believers.

Thank you for your prayers and support for gospel mission. Your giving directly impacted these trips, for which the Mongolian church is grateful. In Pastor Augie’s words,  “these mission trips were very fruitful and a good way of re-connecting with local people and raising new leaders.”
