One of Radstock's projects is in a region that until recently had no local gospel witness.  It's difficult ground for the gospel, so difficult we can't speak of it openly.  We've dubbed it "Project Samos."  

AN UPDATE

As political upheavals in the region has prevented our Radstock liaison from visiting , we hope to invite Norman, a national pastor-evangelist in Project Samos's region, to visit the UK. Please pray for these plans. It would strengthen Project Samos’s Gospel Partnerships and be a great encouragement to Norman too as he meets UK churches.  Norman has committed to this region and looks to the UK churches for partnership. Pray we will make wise decisions as we stand with him.

Norman reports recently going to an area where there was allegedly a community of Christians. He went to visit and encourage them, only to find that they were in fact Muslims. The reason they are known locally as Christians is that they are the ones who do all the dirty jobs around the city; normally the Christians clean out the sewage gutters, etc.  However, this despised community was delighted to hear of God’s love in Christ for the outcasts and to receive Bibles!

Norman asks if we can further the work he has started among these Muslims by prayer and raising funds to install a water pump. We need £600.00 / $1,025.00.

THE VISION AND PRAYER POINTS

Our long-term desire is to see the handful of believers from this region who are living in the UK networked and fellowshipping together in mission. Pray especially for four men who have come to faith. Discipling them is exciting but fraught with difficulties. Please pray for growth in grace and gospel confidence. We're thankful for one who is sufficiently mature to work alongside us in the project team.
