Carrigaline Baptist is seeking someone to serve in a training capacity.

The role will be for 1-2 years and is for those who would like ministry experience in a local church context and considering full time Christian work in the longer term.

The vision of the church is to see people trained and equipped for ministry in Ireland and Overseas. Driven by the Great Commission of Matthew 26v19 'Therefore go and make disciples of all nations...', we believe the way to fulfil that commission is to train and equip people who make disciples. We do this as we introduce people to Jesus, equip them to follow Jesus and train them to teach others about Jesus.

There will be three aspects to this role:

Theological Studies

The person appointed will be given opportunity to attend the Munster Bible College where they will join with others in a classroom setting. They will be encouraged to join in on the modules that are being offered at that time (3 a year).

Training Experience

We want this to be a learning experience and the best way for that to happen is to start doing the work. Taking the appointees gifts and abilities into consideration it may include, Preaching and Teaching, One to One bible study with students and young people, Evangelism, Supporting youth and children's ministry.

Pastoral Mentoring

This Ministry opportunity will be overseen by the Pastor who will provide on going mentoring in areas of character and ministry, which will include weekly reviews and reflection.
