On October 17^th, we held our 2^nd annual USA ‘Round Table’ event in Sterling, Virginia. In attendance were several pastors and key leaders from various churches, five of which are located in the DC metropolitan area. The meeting provided ample time for both our key and network churches to discuss several topics. On the agenda, we covered the intricacies involved in developing partnerships for the sake of missions. We had some time set aside for personal ministry reflection. And finally, we spent a good portion of the day discussing some specific future mission opportunities for the local church.

The USA Round Table provided an excellent venue for several different churches to begin the dialogue, face to face, about their hopes and dreams with regard to mission. Some of the opportunities that were highlighted during the day were: creating opportunities for ministry in Mongolia, ministry training and deployment to the Balkans, and creating a coalition of churches to partner with the Church in Cuba. Our hope is to see the fruit of these discussions and see tangible ways in which this conversation we began in Sterling, Virginia makes its way around the globe and onto the mission field.
