Radstock Ministries

Urban Life, a church in the urban center of Derby, England, has set aside these two weeks to dream and to pray intensely about and for thier community.  Inspired by the William Carey quote "Expect great things from God; attempt great things for God," the church brainstormed their hopes for their church and community for the future years and are dedicating themselves to pray through those desires.  Won't you join with them?  Pray for their community and have a think about doing something slimilar for your own. 

Here's a sample of some of the things you can pray for with Urban Life:

homelessness

people in their community by name - neighbors, shop owners, service providers, those living on the street

lots of time spent with neighbors

growth for their church and the ability to plant a new church; a church of many nationalities and socio-economic backgrounds

partnerships with churches in other countries and opportunity for global mission

whole families becoming Christians

great joy coming to the whole community
