Density of population: 689 per sq km (UK is 246 per sq km)

72% of the people live in the villages

Pray for

- God’s kingdom to be established

- The National and State leaders

- Justice and liberty for the poor

It is against this backdrop that the 2020 movement is gaining momentum. It is not so much an organisation as a vision. The desire is to see 20% of the population of Uttar Pradesh as followers of Christ by the year 2020. Growth since the early 90’s has gone from around 0.1% to around 1% today, so they are praying this growth will, in God’s grace, prove to be exponential.
