Some gifts just keep on giving.

Last birthday I received something that keeps on giving.

It's a book; and thought I've only read a chapter or two so far, even seeing the front cover does me good.

On that cover are the words 'Just Ask'.

It's a book on prayer (written by J.D.Greear). Of course there are many, many books, talks, seminars and more on prayer. And as someone who hasn't finished this one, I can't say how it compares! But I already love its reminder of how incredibly simple and privileged prayer really is: just ask!

Prayer itself is a gift that keeps on giving - inexhaustible access to the King of the universe, our Heavenly Father, the God who keeps on giving.

Our Network Prayer Zooms over the last 2 years have been precious shared expressions of that privilege. Every 2 weeks, members of the Radstock family gather online and hear updates from churches and projects - and pray. Why not join some of those 30-minute calls and 'just ask' the Lord with Radstock brothers and sisters?

Together and on our own - perhaps as you discover the needs and opportunities within the Radstock network - let's not be those who "do not have because we do not ask". Let's be a network of churches who keep remembering and reminding each other to 'just ask'.

And may God get the glory as He does "whatever we [just] ask in His name."
